Success is in the eye of yourself.

Have you ever heard the term their eyes light up when they talk about that topic or maybe you have felt it. That racing feeling in your chest when you talk about something you are passionate about, something that no one else understands or feels, but it can be the best feeling.

If you are doing a hobby, skill or talent and you feel this way chances are it is something you love, you don’t just do it because someone has told you to, or you have to. But because you want to, you are willing to go above and beyond to get better, to get stronger, faster, more confident whatever. You wake up early for it and go to bed late for it, you study it, you find new ways to learn more about it and do it. It has become more than a hobby, it is now a lifestyle, but what if it is not just a lifestyle what if it is a gift. A gift being something that God has given you to share with people…an avenue for you to share God through.

We each have different gifts and talents, some is music, others sports or arts. We each are uniquely different because we were created to be that way. God has given each of us passions and things we enjoy and find joy in, just because we find joy in them and that passion does not always mean it is going to be easy, maybe you are in a place where you are going through a rough patch in your art, do you give up and walk away or do you find another way to keep persevering and continue to advance and trust God’s Will.

God doesn’t test us to see if we are faithful, but rather to show us that He is faithful and that if we trust Him in due time we will reap what we have sown. Injuries will come, we will fall, we will be knocked down and told to just give up. We may lose everything to pursue our gifts, but in the end how will we ever reap the reward if we are afraid to fail. Mistakes are the simple truth that we are trying, the true measure of who we are is in whether we get back up or we stay down.

We may lose the support of our family, friends and whoever else is close to us, but guess what there is always one person beside us and He is our greatest fan He knows us better than we could ever imagine knowing ourselves after all He created us long before we were ever born and just when it was our time to make our grand entry He placed us with the perfect loving family.

The best form of payback is a comeback, a success, an overcoming of whatever we have faced. The world may be against us, but our Heavenly Father  is standing in our corner through every take down, trial and hurt.

What is your gift, what makes your eyes light up, your heart race, that tingling feeling flow through your body? What do you dream about, think about, catch yourself gazing off the distance imagining? What is it?

What has God blessed you with that you can use to further His Kingdom. You might think you are not strong enough or big enough, you might not even be old enough, guess what age is just a number as is height and weight. You are bigger than all your problems, you are stronger than all your enemies, you are smarter than all the bullies. When you fall get back up, when you feel like you can’t take one more step, crawl one more inch.

Before you can run you must walk, but before you can walk you must crawl. Never forget success does not come overnight, faith would be easy if it could though now wouldn’t it! We are so stuck on being comfortable, we grow old and eventually meet our final days wondering what if. Become uncomfortable try new things, if you haven’t found your gift keep looking for it keep seeking it, never settle with just living paycheck to paycheck or day to day. There is so much more to this life then a life full of things, rather a life full of purpose is worth so much more.

God doesn’t call the able, He calls the willing heart. The one who is going to stay the course and keep trusting that no matter what may come that God is going to be faithful. The light is about to turn on, just keep holding tight to the promises.

 

“Don’t, enemy, crow over me.
    I’m down, but I’m not out.
I’m sitting in the dark right now,
    but God is my light.
I can take God’s punishing rage.
    I deserve it—I sinned.
But it’s not forever. He’s on my side
    and is going to get me out of this.

In closing I will say this… do NOT stop, do NOT lay down and the world tell you are not good enough.

“God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him. After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun. So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. We’re sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one. None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.” 

Romans 8:29-39

God Bless my dear friends I hope this inspires you like it inspired me, the devil is throwing all he can at me, but I absolutely refuse to lay down and let him get the victory, God is about to use me and I am going be my best self for the Kingdom.
